Insulated Four-Compartment Tank, Side Heating Equipment, Rear Valve
The 40 m³ tank is divided into four compartments and wrapped in insulation under external cladding to slow heat loss between the loading point and the job site. Heating and auxiliary equipment is mounted outside the tank in a dedicated side area, where the service points are easy to check. A handwheel valve at the rear connects to the discharge hose. A top walkway with guardrail gives access to the manholes. Tank material, insulation thickness, heating equipment and valve size are chosen for your bitumen grade, loading temperature and journey time.

How is this bitumen tanker built?
Six Stages from Tank Layout to Final Checks
The tank, four compartments, three-axle group and equipment positions are laid out first. Tank plates and end sections are then cut and formed, with compartment plates, access openings and outlets prepared together. The shell, ends and internal compartments are assembled with the manholes, supports and discharge points. Insulation goes around the tank and is covered with external cladding. The frame, landing gear, axles, walkway, equipment boxes, heating parts and discharge pipework are fitted, and lights, guards, valves and connections are checked after assembly.

01What is the capacity of this bitumen tanker?
40 m³ (about 10,567 US gallons), split into four compartments. The payload you can carry depends on the bitumen density and the weight limits on your route.
02How does the tanker keep bitumen hot?
The tank is insulated and covered with external cladding to slow heat loss, and heating equipment is mounted in a side compartment. Insulation thickness and heating are chosen for your grade, loading temperature and journey time.
03What are the dimensions?
11,220 mm long, 2,500 mm wide and 3,650 mm high, on three axles spaced 1,310 mm apart.
04How is bitumen unloaded?
Through the rear outlet and handwheel valve, which connects to a discharge hose. Valve and hose sizes are matched to your receiving equipment.
05Can it carry asphalt emulsion or other liquids?
It is built for asphalt and bitumen. Tell us any other cargo before ordering so the tank material, heating and valves can be checked for it.
